Shkorpilovtsi - spa resort & hotels
Shkorpilovtsi is a natural reserve and quiet place where man may combine both the curative effects of sea and mountain, a perfect place for relaxing, camping, walking, and biking. It is situated 40 km south of Varna, near the source of the river Kamchiya, amidst a dense natural forest. The beach is the longest and widest at the Bulgarian seaside – 13 km long and about 100 m wide in places. South of the village is the northeast point of the Balkan Mountains – the Cherni nos (Black Cap). The name of the village is connected with the famous Czech researchers of the Black Sea - the Škorpil brothers.
The climate is marine, mild and pure, with short winters, long autumns, and warm summers with a pleasant sea breeze. The mineral water is strongly mineralized with a mineralization 14483mg/l, with a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, salty, iodine-bromine, and containing carbon dioxide.
