The spa has been recognised for its therapeutic qualities since the 16th century. The only spa of its kind in Europe, the thermal water flows at 30°C in the natural passageways of the cave.

Indications: locomotive and dermatological disorders, gastroenterological complaints (as drinking cure)

Specific contraindications: communicable diseases, epilepsy, convulsive disorders

Local attractions: Diósgyőr Castle, Eger, Lillafüred, Aggtelek (a World Heritage site)
