Marash - spa resort & hotels

Marash is situated in the northwestern part of Bulgaria, near the river Kamchia. The village maintains old Bulgarian traditions and rituals – weddings, spinning, knitting, rolling cheese patties, kneading and baking bread, lamb, etc. One may listen to regional songs and visit the festival of “peppers and tomatoes”. A popular tourist attraction is the marble church at the centre of the village.

The mineral water is the biggest treasure. It is hyper-thermal, mineralized (8036 mg/l) with a neutral pH, bromine, chloride-sulfate-sodium-calcium, and hydrogen sulfide.
