Kusadasi, one of Turkey's principal holiday resorts, offers an excellent environment for an unforgettable holiday. Situated on the west coast of Turkey, 90 km south of Izmir, Kusadasi, is famous as one of the most attractive cities in the Aegean, close as it is to important historic sites, including Ephesus, Didyma, Priene, Miletos, the key centres of ancient times, and ideal for sightseers.

Kusadasi has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters, providing a long tourism season. The city is bathed in sunshine for 300 days of the year. Numerous powdery sandy beaches with warm and clear water, providing a peaceful atmosphere, make possible a great variety of water and beach facilities. Windsurfing, water skiing, sailing and beach volleyball are only a few of the choices for lovers of the active life. After quietly sunbathing during the day, the city awaits the superb sunset. As the sun sets, the attractive cafes and restaurants along the palm-lined boulevards get busier. It is a great delight to have a pre-dinner drink and watch the comings and goings of the yachts and ships accompanied by a panoramic view of the sunset. The restaurants in Kusadasi, serving a variety of fresh seafood and fish and Aegean specialties, offer delicious meals. Dancing and entertainment at a lively bar or a disco until dawn, may end an ideal day in Kusadasi.

The Kusadasi Setur Marina is one of the largest and best equipped marinas in Turkey, with room for 629 yachts both afloat and on shore, and visited by between 2,500-3,000 boats each year.

With its special qualifications as an excellent holiday resort, Davutlar, 15 km south of Kusadasi, appears to be a promising spa region for the country. Set in native forested mountains with spectacular views, this celebrated region of Turkey has an exceptionally mild climate rich in oxygen with negligible humidity. Thermal springs – in addition to the clear mountain air which in itself counts as "nature's medicine" – can offer excellent health, fitness and beauty facilities which are second to none. Naturmed, a natural healing thermal hotel, has everything to offer the demanding visitor in search of the ultimate in thermal baths. Guests in Davutlar-Kusadasi are looked after in a natural environment, surrounded by the sea and thermal waters.
