Jûrmala, the largest resort town in the Baltic States, is well known for its natural riches – the mild climate, sea, healthy air, healing mud and mineral water.

Jûrmala is a unique resort in that it combines the three main factors: healthy climate (sea, pine forests, fresh air); mineral water springs (sulphur, bromine and natrium-chloride); curative mud (peat and sapropel).

This seaside resort is famous for its healthy climate and mineral waters that are not only used for drinking, but also in the spa baths and pools.

Covered in white quartz sand, Jûrmala’s 32 km long beach is a great experience for everyone, and is free to all. Each region’s beach has its own character: Majori and Bulduri qualify to fly the Blue Flag, while the beaches in Dubulti and Dzintari are usually places for open beach football and volleyball competitions. The coastal water is very shallow, making it safe for children to paddle and build sandcastles.

Renovated resort hotels and rehabilitation centres provide treatment for disorders of the cardiocirculatory, neurological, digestive, musculoskeletal and locomotive systems, as well as rehabilitation, relaxation, beauty care and other spa procedures. Programmes based on natural resources – climate therapy, physiotherapy, balneotherapy, mud applications, sauna, walking and swimming – definitely promote recovery from everyday stress.

Jûrmala Spa Centres offer an extensive range of services: you can manage insomnia, anxiety, depression and diseases of the circulatory system, or you can choose to contour your figure, banish cellulite and obesity problems, and improve many other imperfections.
